Yay I'm blogging on here, after a long time of not I'm back...I think. So let's see what's new...work and work and school and school. So finals are approaching, ugh. In less that 2 weeks, but at least I'll be on break after it...for a week, ugh. Still a break is a break, and at least I have only 3 classes next quarter. I hope taking these 3 classes won't fuck me over in the long run.
So besides schol and work I went and got the new Vampire Weekend album CONTRA. I liked the first album...before it became all mainstream and than I started hating it. But now i've decided to give this new one a try, and I love it. I especially love the track "Diplomat's son.
yup , that's all I"m gonna write for now. But I"ll be back... I"m sure...i hope, damn why do I procrastinate too much.

I Have to Stop Procrastinating
So it's 1:05...i don't know how I was able to procrastinate for about 4 ours doing nothing. *sigh* Ok I'm not to worried because I know I have time...i hope. I really slacked this quarter I mean only 3 finals 3 FINALS 3 FUCKING FINALS.
So as I'm here writing...procrastinating but I know I'll be able to finish I know I will. Anyway I think it's just the holidays getting to me. *sigh* I just have to know that after Wednesday this will all be over and welcome WINTER BREAK than Secret Santa...than Jersuha and Thomas UGH, than maybe Wicked, and lastly enjoy my vacation.
Before I go, in to i guess remember those victims to AIDS, i decided to post a video of one of the most important individuals at Disney who sadly passed away due to AIDS. Howard Ashman.

I have to go to bed!!!
So it's about 3:03, and I'm still up. I know WTF? But I just finished watching a movie I rented on iTunes. it was a christmas comedy. Very funny and also somewhat sad *tear in eye* . Anyway after the movie I decided to once again go to Elfster and see if there's anything new. *sigh* Pretty much nothing new, just the same as this morning.
What I"ve been doing to entertain myself and have a bit of fun on there is asking the most random of most random questions. I mean come one it's so tempting and it's a way to liven things up. I'll post the questions on here once I get everyone to answer them. So fat about 1/4 of them have answered...I just realized I think I sent the stem cell research one to VIcki...oops. Hopefully she doesn't get offended by it. But anyway aside from that I decided to ask everyone the same question this time. The inspiration for it came up while listing to a Taylor Swift song, and i decided to use a lyric from it and form it into a question. The result was this;
When Romeo was throwing pebbles and juliet's daddy said stay away from Juliet, do you agree Juliet should've ran and cried on the staircase begging please don't go?
Now we wait to see how it's answered. These are so fun. :)
I just hope I got a good person and hopefully it doesn't turn out like this.

F-U ERIC GONZO
So today I woke up to the sound of rain outside. The plan for today was that I was going to go do some Christmas shopping with me mother. Due to the rain we we were not able to go ahead and do that. No worries I told myself, if this keeps going Marine World will be closed. I mean if you have any common sense you'd have to close a theme park in these conditions, especially in this weather especially with all the unsafe conditions, right?? NO, not with a jackass redneck park president like Eric Gilbert. After getting tired of waiting for that phone call to tell me "ey Martin, well due to this weather we're having the Park President has decided to close the park for today especially since it's very unsafe." So I decide to call instead of just waiting for the call.
Apparently the park is open. DAMN. UGH, ok ok ok no problem i get to make money right... I mean i have to try and make the most I can before finally quitting this job. Especially since I'm up to my last strand of patience and sooner or later if the District manager gives me crap chances are I'm just gonna lash out and walk off that place. Of course planning to just walk out like that I'm gonna need some money to allow me to survive while unemployed. I'm not gonna lie I just want to have an excuse to leave with a big bang. What was to be just a summer job to keep me occupied and keep my dad from always lecturing me on why I needed a summer job, turned into a 3 season job going to 4.*sigh* BUT I'm trying to not have a 4th season going back. In reality how is this shit-hole job going to help my career.
"So tell me Martin have you had any experience in the design industry?"
"Well not really but I worked for KODAK (event imagining solutions) for 3 years."
"Oh very nice KOD--"
"No, actually more like a sub-braanch that specializes in them park photos. In theme parks."
"Oh..."
"thank you for your time."
"but, but, I used my design logic to decide where to place graphics on the photogra--"
"thank you"
"but, but"
""THANK YOU"
I really got to quit this gig, getting that call on Friday was one thing that in a way angered me. I don't want anything to do with that shit-place workplace out of those them park walls. After I clock out, i want nothing to do with that job, nothing at all. Anything that concerns work takes place between the time I'm clocked in and until I clock out.*sigh* Well up to now that's what's on my mind, I think I might Even be late for work I supposed to start at 5:00, and it's already 4:50.
To distract me from this shit , here's a video that makes me laugh and makes me forget my troubles for 3 minutes.
Enjoy.
first time i saw this was in my Typography II class, one of my favorite classes taught by one of favorite instructors RIKER.

Saddest Virgin
So today I woke up with a cold, FUCK. *sigh* Well can't do much but just be inside my house all day and try to not go out in the cold. So aside from starting to read my new book The Hour Between and sleeping in, I listened to some Howard Stern on Sirius-XM. Aside from having one of the funniest comedians out there Dave Attell, he also had a contest called "THE WORLD'S SADDEST VIRGIN."
Pretty depressing somewhat depressing listening to these guys. As the title suggest it's about 3 virgins in their 24 who haven't been laid. You might say, so their virgins that's not sad I've heard of a 40 year old virgin. True, but what makes these guys very sad virgins is that they have a disability that makes the opposite sex not even talk or approach them. These guys make you be thankful for your own life.
Peter was the first sad virgin to be introduced. What was Peter's disability was that he had a speaking disorder. Whenever Peter spoke it was very hard to understand. It was so hard to understand him, that Will who had the pre-interview over the phone thought Peter had claimed that Bruce Lee taught him kung-fu. What Peter had actually said over the phone was that he learned kung-fu from Bruce Lee's son Brandon----by watching him in the movies.

Alex was the second guy to be introduced that was a virgin. Now Alex was much sadder case than Peter. What made Peter a sad virgin was the he was in a wheel-chair, but his legs were not the only thing that didn't work, his hands also didn't work. And another thing he suffered from was that he also had a speaking disability.

Richard was the third virgin. Richard is already known since he's been on the show previously. Richard'd disability is that he has moles all over his body, except downstairs.

So like always the judges were Howard, Robin, and Fred (Artie wasn't there). And the winner of the contest, which was to go to the AVN awards was ...Alex. In a way looking and listing to poor Alex you do see this as a thing he deserved more than the other 2.
So enough of that, Another thing my day consisted of was finding out who I got for Secret Santa. And the person i got was someone who i literally barely know. Thank god for the wish list they have in Elfster. Makes it very much easier especially when you don't know the individual. Even though what they have on their wish list is just a Old Navy gift-card. I feel like just telling them that maybe a better option would be to actually get her a gift-card from the better store GAP and not the lower level ghetto one Old Navy. As for me I was able to make my list. Like the previous year i make a list since many of the things I wish for are hard to find. I have a picky taste since I love Indie movies, not your average book, or a cd from some hard indie band.
I'm happy the price range is actually higher this year. This year it's at $25.00 making it a little more flexible to buy better presents.

Getting into Reading
So recently I've been getting into reading. It's been a long time since i last picked up a book and read it for enjoyment. The last book i picked up was perhaps Harry Potter and the the Deathly Hallows. Making it about 3?? years ago? Anyway i started to kind of make it like a ritual going to Borders especially the one in Union Square and look for a book that might catch my attention.
As I was browsing for a book to get my attention and come home with me, I came upon this book. A book about politics, no not just any normal book, but a book about politics as TOLD BY CHUCK NORRIS. Interesting enough I learned that Mr.Norris wants for Texas to become it's own country. Which could happen since he is Chuck Norris.

Anyway i made my way and eventually picked up a book called "The Hour Between" . Seemed like an interesting read so i bought the book. It looks like very interesting book and perhaps another "Cather in the Rye"

The book that I have recently just, literally 20 minutes ago just finished was "The World of Normal Boys." WOW just WOW is some of my words to describe this book. This book can be put down as my top #1 Book. What makes this book different that any other book I have read in the past is that it's one of those few books that comes along and moves you. A book that makes you smile, makes you sad, and makes you angry. Unlike perhaps books that I've read in the past or those really fiction books like Harry Potter. This book is much different since it's a book that tells a story that seems to feel to be real and an actual event that happened. No happy ever after ending but just raw truth. I can only pray and hope this book becomes a motion picture before I die. This is the kind of books that deserve to be made into movies not that Twilight B.S, but books that actually touch you and make you think and not fantasize about a mystical world.
Now "The World of Normal Boys" is a growing up story of Robin McKanzie(hope i spelled his name right). Robin is 13 and about to go on 14. Like many of us he's the oldest and has 2 younger siblings. A younger brother by the name of Jackson and much younger sister by the name of Ruby. Robin has problems in school, he's one of those kids that gets picked on for being different. Not only does he get picked on by his fellow classmates but also by his annoying cousin Larry.
The story revolves mainly about a horrible accident that happens to Jackson that leaves him with a broken spine and a somewhat coma. Accident caused manly by Larry, the family starts to change. His dad being a somewhat gentle man becomes a short temper man. His sister becomes a religious nut and his mom starts to take up drinking very heavily. During this Time Robin starts to go through many changes and befriends a somewhat pot-head kid by the name of Scott. Scott lives with his abusive father who hits him for just about anything. Robin and Scott throughout start and become very close friends, while at the same time his family starts to separate more and more due to the accident.
"The World of Normal Boys" is a definite pick up and i highly recommend it. And like I said, I hope this book becomes one of those that gets to be made into a movie. once you read the last word in the book it makes you yearn to perhaps be able to read beyond and see what happens after this book. Luckily After doing some google searches, i was very HAPPY AND EXCITED to read that the author did and is continuing the story of Robin, that will take place 4 years in the future and concentrate on Robin and his sister Ruby. This is very exciting to see what changes Robin is facing and ha gone though in four years. I can't wait. The only thing that sucks is that we have to wait until spring 2010 to see what happens.

shareyourinternet
So I decided to create the blog shareyourinternet. Name being inspired by an inside joke sparked by two of my college classmates. The story is a short one where one day when we were in Religious Beliefs class, and I was the only one picking up an internet signal. My other two classmates couldn't pick the signal up on their MacBooks for some reason. Craving for some internet, one of them burst out saying "share your internet."
"Yea don't be a jerk, share your internet."
From that moment on that phrase has become a thing that whenever I bump into them, they tend to bring up. It's a phrase that will perhaps haunt me till i die.
After some time deciding to create a blog that I will actually stick to try and update on perhaps a daily basis. Reason for this blog is to post my findings and just random crap I come upon in the internet world or actual physical world. Hopefully I actually stick to this for once and actually write stuff down.
Of course creating a blog does not only consist of interesting content that tends to keep your followers to come back time after time. You also need an interesting and perhaps name that you feel somewhat embodies what your blog will be about and a name that you could say is somewhat personal to you. Which is why i chose the name shareyourinternet.
Now you know the origin of the name. Hopefully this is not my only blog i write here. I would write more, but I'm writing this in my school's student "lounge" area. Perhaps by the "" you can realize my school's student lounge is not really the greatest. Well It would be interesting if there weren't annoying freshmen in here and big time flaming queen...I know I'm gonna get shit for that later.
Anyway I hereby this blog as shareyourinternet.
